When relocating to a new area, you can have an overwhelming amount of things on your mind: New job, new school, new church, new routines, and last but not least, finding a new place for your family to live. I have a long history of finding buyers the right home by going through a very specific checklist to help you efficiently narrow your options.
When most buyers go into home search mode - they may end up with 50+ listings to view. Naturally, that's too many properties to see first hand if you're limited on time! I can help you to narrow your search down to a couple dozen properties, with these things in mind:
- Before you get here, send me a couple of lists: One should be of things you must have. The other should be for optional things you want. When a house can't fulfill your basic needs, we can obviously cross it off the list.
- Have an established price range. This could be based on loan pre-approval or a conservative estimate of how much you'll get from selling your present home.
- Think about drive time to work or other activities. Traffic around Pittsburgh could be different than what you're used to, so let me know how long a commute you're willing to undertake.
I can send you some top recommendations prior to your arrival. Or you could already have some strong possibilities as a result of your own research. While seeing listing photos on the web is great, there's nothing like visiting homes in person. Let me set up any necessary appointments with other Realtors or homeowners and map a route. We could tour up to 8 or 10 homes in a single day if we work efficiently.
